Happy Holidays, updates, next..

Hi friends,

I wanted to wish you a belated Merry Christmas! I hope you had a fun, yet relaxing Holiday.

The last week for me was filled with lots of family, laughs and plenty of food. It was really wonderful to be with everyone I love very dearly.

It’s been awhile since I have written. I apologize, I like to stay relatively current..

In the beginning of the month, I played at my hometown Canton’s First Friday event. My band-mate/violinist Walter and I played at Art Adventures studio amongst some lovely paintings and new, friendly Cantonians. The next night I played at a lovely coffee shop in Berlin, Ohio/Amish Country. The place was Java Jo’s. It was a small yet nice and personable crowd, including my Dad, Mom and Grandma. A great time overall.

On December 16th, I went up to Cleveland and played a songwriting circle with a friend of mine, Chris Castle. He and I, along with Nate Jones (of Cleveland now living in New Orleans) and Tom Evanchuck (of Chardin,Oh) played our songs, shared experiences and really enjoyed each others creations. Each of us very different. It was a lovely night.

Next up is Chicago! I haven’t been back since I left the end of April of this year. My band and I will be playing the Hideout with two Chicago, fantastic bands, Grammar and Horse in the Sea. I can’t wait! I hope for a good turnout! The show is Friday January 8th at 930pm. Tickets are $8. For more information, check it out!

I’ll also be playing a solo set at a familiar place for me, Uncommon Ground on Clark St. I played there several times while living in the city. That show is Saturday January 9th. My set is 1045pm-1105pm. I’ll be solo.

Then January 28th, I’ll be returning to Musica in Akron, opening for fellow Kent band, Bethesda. They will be releasing their first full-length cd.

Happy New Year!

See you soon!
